The Association (EBA) represents nearly 100 small business and service providers in Emsworth and surrounding area. We are 12 years old this year and promote the town as an excellent location to visit, live, work and do business. Now firmly established as the leading independent support organisation for business in Emsworth, the EBA remains committed to developing the economic prosperity of the area. One of the Association’s many strengths is the wide and diverse cross section of its members which now includes IT services, corporate and traditional retailers, the self employed working from home, restaurants, hotels, public houses and many other small and medium enterprises. The Association has close links with Havant Borough Council and has developed strategies to encourage visitors to the town through projects and to improve the town's environs and by organising "whole town" events. Pro-activity is key to developing the Association's aims of supporting local businesses and promoting Emsworth the most recent example being a a survey conducted by students at the Peter Jones Business Avadrmy at Chichester College, "Enterprising Emsworth" in 2011
