HAVE YOUR SAY! – What do you want from your Town, District and Local Centres?
This is an informal consultation document about the town, district and local centres that lie at the heart of local communities in the Borough of Havant.
The Council is seeking the views of local residents, businesses and developers on what they want from these centres and how they want them to develop in the future.

The feedback from this consultation will feed into a more formal consultation that will take place in 2012 on allocating sites for a wider range of uses including housing, retail and industry. There are a number of supplementary leaflets additional to this document which ask ‘What do you want from your District Centre?’. These are written in plain English and include the questions mentioned throughout this document on a geographical basis.
Council planners will be in the Meridian Centre on 6 December and Waterlooville Library on 9 December, between 10am and 2pm, to ask shoppers and local businesses for their opinions.
The supplementary leaflets are available to download below (these contain specific local questions). There is also a questionnaire to download which contains questions for all areas and on future policy direction. Paper copies are available from the Public Service Plaza. The consultation begins on 5 December 2011 and the deadline for comments is 16 January 2012.
